“Navigating the Singapore Ecosystem”
Join us for a morning ‘tour’ of the Singapore ecosystem with the Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore. We will be joined by Deputy Head of Mission, Rasmus Bjørnø, and Head of Public Diplomacy and Partnerships, Annette Østergaard Jørgensen.
Annette will provide an insight into Singapore’s government ministries and agencies, as well as its dynamic innovation ecosystem. How does Singapore’s highly coordinated, agency-driven approach compare with the Danish model – and what can be learned from navigating both?
Following the presentation on Singapore, Rasmus will provide an insight into how the embassy works to facilitate collaboration across areas of Danish strongholds between Danish and Singaporean stakeholders. How do we facilitate partnerships that benefits Singapore, Denmark and Danish businesses?

About our speakers:
Rasmus Bjørnø, Deputy Head of Mission & Head of Trade. Rasmus has worked in various trade, climate and policy roles in MFA and has previously been posted to Shanghai and Seoul.
Annette Østergaard Jørgensen, Head of Public Diplomacy & Partnerships. With extensive experience in Danish public policy, international affairs and digital policy, and 5+ years of living and working in Singapore, she helps connect Danish and Singaporean stakeholders and navigate the two ecosystems.
