Steen V. Grøndahl, Head of Portfolio Management at Nordea Bank S.A. in Luxembourg will give Nordea's view on the outlook for the financial markets. One of Steen's calls for 2005 was a stronger dollar but what will 2006 have in store for the global investor?
Jørgen Ørstrøm Møller graduated in Economics from the University of Copenhagen in 1968. In 1997, he became Ambassador to Singapore and Brunei and, in 2002, Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand. After almost 38 years of uninterrupted diplomatic service, he retired at the age of 61 to become Visiting Senior Research Fellow at ISEAS (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies), a Singaporean think-tank. Since 2002, Jørgen has been Adjunct Professor at the Copenhagen Business School.
Steen V. Grøndahl holds both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. Steen worked for Nykredit Markets in Copenhagen, where he was in charge of covering the Danish and European economies, before joining Nordea in 2001, as head of the FX & Fixed Income Strategy team. In 2004, he took up a position with Nordea Bank S.A. in Luxembourg as Chief Economist and was recently appointed head of the Portfolio Management team.
