Do you know what to do if you require medical treatment?
DABS - in conjunction with Scandinavian Women’s Association, Expat Insurance and International Medical Centre – have the pleasure of inviting you to a presentation on the Singapore medical system, how and where to receive treatment and how the Singapore system differs from back home.
Dr Niek ter Mors will provide a doctor’s perspective and give an introduction to accessing care and treatment as well as health factors you need to be aware of during your time in Asia, including common health conditions and what should you be aware of when travelling in the region.
Danielle Warner will provide an overview of the Singapore medical system and how it differs from many of our home countries. She will share insight on what you need to be aware of when purchasing insurance and how to avoid the financial burden of treatment costs in Singapore. If your Company provides you with health insurance benefits, Danielle will highlight how to evaluate if that cover fits your family’s needs and the options available to top-up coverage privately.
