Imagine
.. discussing business
with associates on a plane
to London while you're flying
to Paris; a surgeon at John
Hopkins University in Baltimore
touching and guiding the hand
of a medical student in India;
personal golf lessons from
Tiger Woods who appears as
real as if he were standing
next to you
..welcome
to the world of Holographic
technology.
Currently,
the attention of the marketplace
is on the delivery of wireless
communications worldwide,
with an emphasis on wireless
Internet access. What lies
beyond is only vaguely noticed
by a few (even though indirect
corporate spending toward
its realization is already
into the billions of dollars
each year). What's coming
is nothing short of another
revolution of communications,
which could be greater in
size and impact than that
brought about by the present
Internet: the world of the
hologram. Full-colour, 360
degrees virtual image technology
will deliver communications,
sports, and entertainment
to businesses and individuals
anywhere in the world and
at any time.
The
Singapore International
Chamber of Commerce is
pleased to invite Mr Martin
Keating, President of First
Keating Corporation to
speak on this exciting technology
and its future. First Keating
Corporation, a development-stage
company, was formed in 1995
for the purpose of acquiring,
developing, and distributing
intellectual properties to
the international marketplace,
initially through existing
Internet conduits. In 1998,
the company expanded its vision
to encompass the development
and delivery of wireless holographic
programming. Virtual imaging
(or "telepresence")
via non-laser holography is
a rapidly approaching multi-hundred-billion-dollar
industry.
Mr
Martin Keating is an attorney
who was responsible for the
initial financing of Columbia
Pictures' Academy Award-winning
motion picture, The Buddy
Holly Story. But he is known
worldwide as the author of
the very successful novel
that foretold the events of
"9/11" - The Final
Jihad, which was excerpted
four times by King Features
Syndicate for more than 1,500
newspapers. He is currently
writing its sequel, "Seekers
of the Infidel".
